Help Myah fight her cancer battle
Donation protected
We ask for your help, Myah Lazarovski is 14 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 2-3 cancer type Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Her Story....
Four weeks ago Myah was at school, sitting in her classroom to receive a note from her parents saying they were there to pick her up early.
Within an hour of her leaving, Myah was in an ambulance and was rushed to Sydney Children’s Hospital.
After a lot of scans, no sleep and a very worried family, a few days later little Myah was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Four weeks have now passed and Myah's mum Bernadette has not left her daughter's side.
Myah's dad Peter and her two siblings Gemma and Hudson were driving up and back daily from Wollongong to Randwick.
Fatigue set in on both Bernie and Pete, Gemma is supposed to be sitting her HSC trials this term and little Hudson is trying to learn why his sister is so sick and why he hasn't been able to do normal life as an 8 year old.
Bernie and Pete have had to take their whole savings and rent an apartment close to the hospital whilst still paying their mortgage. Their whole world is now on hold while Myah undergoes intense chemo treatments for the next 6 months.
In the meantime, their house Renovation will stop and the family back home will look after their animals.
The positive side to being sick at 14, Myah has a wonderful group of friends who want to make a small difference to help Myah and her family by doing some fundraising.
The group of year nine students from different schools have got together and will be either cutting their hair or doing the big shave to support Myah so she isn’t alone on the journey. They will all be attending The Wollongong Hawks basketball game after the fundraiser in the spirit of Myah and her family as this is where their friendships began.
We ask for your help.
Please take the time if you have any spare change today to donate to the go fund page for the Lazarovski family and assist with the accommodation and living expenses they will endure during this time of need.
Any little bit will make a difference by keeping the family together and financially being able to rent closer to the hospital for Myah to undergo her treatment.
Thank you for taking the time to read Myah’s story and supporting her family in donating.
