Mya & Macie college fund, after losing their mom
Hi, I'm Ellen and I'm raising money for my friend Jennifer's young girls, Mya (11) and Macie (9), who recently lost their mother and unborn brother. Jennifer was only 40 years old and 5 months pregnant with a little boy, Tate, when they tragically lost their lives to Covid on June 26, 2021.
I'm organizing this fundraiser for Mya and Macie to have a start-up fund for their college education, in Jennifer's memory. I'm hoping that we can raise a goal of $20,000, but it would be wonderful if this amount could be surpassed. Jennifer's family and friends are heartbroken about this tragedy and so many people that didn't even know Jennifer are sending prayers for her family. Hopefully raising money for Mya and Macie's future education will show her girls how many people loved Jennifer and even those that never met her were saddened by her passing and keeping her family in their thoughts.
Jennifer was a very loving and sweet person to her family and friends. She was a full-time mom to her girls and she was so excited to be pregnant with a little boy. I remember getting the text from her in February that she was pregnant and I felt a lot of joy for her to be expanding her family. Then I saw her gender reveal party on fb in early April and the excitement the entire family felt was radiating in the photos. I am so sad that Jennifer's girls lost their mother and the little baby brother they were so excited to help raise. Her husband, Travis, is obviously devastated and he will have the burden of providing for her girls as a single father from now on. Please consider helping Mya and Macie by donating to their college fundraiser in their mother's memory to help Travis with the 529b plans for his girls. Thank you.
Kind regards,
Ellen Woodcock, a longtime friend of Jennifer
