It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mya Pata.

Mya was a bright light in our lives, bubbly, sassy, and full of sunshine. She had a fire in her spirit and never hesitated to speak her mind. To know Mya was to love her. She made us laugh, kept us grounded, and inspired us every single day with her strength.

Even when she was sick, Mya never lost her spark. She had a talent for making people laugh– always cracking jokes with anyone she met, even complete strangers. It was her way of spreading joy, even in the hardest moments.

For the past five years, Mya faced serious health challenges and spent much of that time in and out of hospitals. Despite it all, she held on with unimaginable bravery and resilience. She endured more than most people will in a lifetime. She was so strong, right up until her final moments. Her suffering and struggle is finally over.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, and support our family during this difficult time.

At this time, we don’t have a confirmed date for the funeral arrangements, but we will share an update once arrangements have been finalized.
