Hi everyone ! Above all and on behalf of our family, thank you so much for visiting this page and considering a donation.
On August 15th, Laura and her boyfriend Greg Zoldesy were riding his motorcycle from an evening on the lakes. They had a great evening; enjoying the sun, having dinner, listening to a live band and catching up with friends. On their way home, around 6:45pm, tragedy struck. An SUV turning left onto Lakeshore Blvd struck the motorcycle, causing both Laura and Greg to be ejected off of the bike. With deep regret and a saddened heart, Greg succumbed to his injuries and passed away early August 16th.
Laura has multiple broken bones and fractures. She is currently in the critical care unit, in ICU. Due to the severity of her condition, she will be out of work and starting her long road to recovery including physical therapy. Because the size of her employer is too small, they do not qualify to offer her FMLA and PTO for the calendar year has been used.
This GoFundMe me is being created to help with medical expenses and the time she will be off work, without pay. She will now take on the financial burden of her mortgage, utilities and other expenses, on her own.
We want to ensure Laura is able to properly grieve and heal physically, without having to worry about finances and medical bills the best we can.
