This is for my younger brother PaoZe Thao. He is married and a father of 3. At the age of 40 and never having any health issues, in December 2023, he went in to the ER for what he thought to be breathing issues and stomach pain. Instead things just snowballed and now has been diagnosed as having Congestive heart failure. The left side of his heart is weakened and only pumping at 25%. The doctors also found a big blockage and he will need to undergo open heart surgery in just a few short coming weeks. PaoZe was let go from his job in September 2023 due to company turnover. He had been with that company since he was 17 years old, so about 23 years! Therefore, he lost his health insurance and can’t afford any of these doctors appointments or the cost of surgery. He is not able to work now after his recent diagnosis. He is so stubborn and is even deciding to refuse any medical attention due to the cost and burden it will cause him and his family. Please, I am asking you to help my brother and his family during this difficult time as we don’t know what the future holds and I don’t want him to worry about what all this is going to cost.
