My Wisdom Healing Qigong Fund
Donation protected
I want to raise funds for my continued practice of zhineng qigong with Master Mingtong Gu.
In the past 5 years, I have suffered from 2 strokes
that froze my arm, gave me aphasia (the inability to remember words, places, or things, and speech issues related to the aphasia.
In the first year I suffered a relapse that put me on disability at work. I had just gotten the use of my frozen arm back when I had a couple of setbacks that the doctors called seizures.
I was determined to not be afflicted the rest of my life and after reading a short story, Sherlock Holmes, (it took two to three days to formulate sentences) I started to heal. I took leave from my teaching job and entered a seizure clinic. For ten days I wore a head full of wires and was attached to a machine that would monitor my brainwaves. No seizure.
From that point to this day I have been recovering and still am. Nothing really phases me at age 65 at work or otherwise.
Even when a few years back, my wife fell in love with a woman (we have yet to be divorced) I have continued to get better. This Fall though I lost my job and I've moved into an apartment I am determined to make it and completely be well. I have turned a part time position at the Montessori School into an opportunity to teach 200 students qigong.
I already had a lot of inner strength to recover, but I found Qigong last year and it more than helps me. It's given my soul a great push forward. I feel more solid. More aware. In the past 3 years I have taken professional courses with Mingtong Gu at the Wisdom Healing Qigong ChiCenter and now I have my third certification retreat. At the end of this retreat I will receive a transmission from Master Mingtong to teach as a fully certified teacher.
The timing of of this is crucial. I have been taking all my savings and putting it towards qigong and healing. Now I can focus on giving back to the community that has helped me this far. However I am determined to heal myself and in turn heal members of my community. Your gift would help me to become the healer I have always wanted to be.
