My wife's family trapped in Gaza!

Hello My name is Stephen,

my wife is from Gaza. Here is a message she has written asking for help!

I am reaching out for you to help me to save my family who are in Gaza.

I am Omeyma Masoud, 59 years old, living in Belgium but unfortunately all my family members, 12 people, including children in which one of the children is a cancer survivor but is supposed to be under observation, which is not available due to the war in Gaza.

My family was forced to flee their homes in the North of Gaza and they have been forced to move five times until they have reached the middle area of the Gaza Strip. They had to stay in the street for two days until they managed to get a room where they are living in overcrowded conditions with many others sheltering in the same room in horrible conditions with no electricity, no water and just one meal each day or sometimes they eat every other day!

My brother, 53 years old, has a serious lung condition and needs medications on a daily basis.

They were hoping to get back one day to their homes but they have learned that the homes have been completely destroyed. They have no home, no work, no means of surviving of any sort.

When the internet and communications are cut off with the Gaza Strip for days on end I am cut off from and I have no way to reach them. This not only leaves me in a permanent state of immense fear of losing them but also leaves me in a devastating condition. I am so afraid to hear their names on the news to be among the thousands of victims of this unjust war.

I am trying to get them out of Gaza but I need your help because it costs a lot of money to pay to be on a list to be allowed to cross the Rafa border. We have already put all our personal savings into the fund! If we recieve more money than we need we will use the money to get the sick and injured out in order to get them the much need medical care! The more money we raise, the more people we can get to safety!

Please, if you can help, no matter how small the amount. Please help! If you can afford to be generous then I pray that God/Allah will reward you!

We are seeking to help the Masoud family who are currently in sourthern Gaza!

How will we get the money to them?: We have currently 2 nephews staying in Eygypt, who can travel with the money to the Rafa crossing!

P.S. Why is the sum so high? The price to pay to cross the Rafa border is currently $8000/per person. We still have 12 people we wish to evacuate to safety. Plus we have already put all are savings into the fund, as they will require accommodation, food, medecine etc on arriving in Egypt.
