Libby is a loving mother of Hannah 17, Sarah 15 and Jacob 3. She is my amazing wife. Libby spends her time caring for her children, committing  countless hours advocating for people around the world to dealing with chronic pain. Helping people help themselves. Her biggest passion is art, she is an absolutely amazing artist who has recently started making money selling her work. She has a problem, her eyes are failing her. There is hope but we need help, as insurance doesn’t cover this. 

She has had issues with her eyes since she was a little girl. She was the kid with coke bottle glasses.  In 2005 she was convinced to get LASIK Surgery. In retrospect, it was the worst decision she could have made for herself, as she wasn’t truly a candidate, but the doctor did the surgery anyways just 3 weeks after Sarah was born. She was desperate to see like a normal person  

Libby’s eyes are now failing her. Without treatment, she would eventually need corneal transplants. Her left eye nearly doesn’t have the corneal cells required to treat it without transplant. There is hope of not needing transplants, which are always risky  

Medical advances have created a new kind of contact. It’s called a scleral lenses. Essentially it is a glass contact that is molded to each individuals eye.  When the contacts are put in, a puddle of saline lays between the contacts and the eyes. This acts as a bandaid barrier for the cornea. So not only is the vision corrected but it also helps to heal the surface of the cornea and stop the progression of the eyes deteriorating. 

We are in contact with a doctor that can help save her vision, save her ability to be a sighted amazing mother, continue to bless the world with her Art and help people online throughout the world. Dr Boshnick is world renowned. People travel to him from every corner of the earth. He can help her, but we need your help. Anything will help us reach our goal.
