my wife is having oral surgery to remove cancer

My wife Charlene was diagnosed with oral cancer 5/25/2021.she got the info yesterday from the doctor on the specifics of the operation and it will consist of having dental surgery also half of her tongue will have to be removed and will need reconstructive surgery on her tongue.also the will be taking all the lymphnodes out of her neck on the left side.followed by 7 weeks of radiation and then speech therapy.

She will be in the hospital for possibly 2 weeks or until able to return home.this will result in her not being able to work for over 3 months,I will be taking a leave of absence from my job also to help her during recovery.

We have 2 daughters,1 is in Jr college and one is a Jr in high-school.
