My very first solo album!

As most of you know, I have been involved in music for many years. Over the last year I have dedicated and focused my time creating the perfect solo record. This has been the ultimate dream of mine for so long- but I told myself it was too lofty of a goal and that I couldn't make it happen on my own. This is NOT true!!! I am making this happen and couldn't be more excited. This is where you come in

I am so grateful and lucky to have such an amazing community that has already been so supportive. Most of you are musicians yourself so you understand the costs that go into making an album. The more money I can raise, the better the album will be. I will be able to pay for more studio time, pay my hard-working musicians, create album art and merch, etc. Being in a band can make this process easier, as you can split the costs. As a solo artist it falls on me, so any and all contributions will be a huge help!

I am recording at the end of September at Stone Gossard's Litho Studios in Ballard. I have done some backing vocals here and feel very comfortable with the space and the amazing staff. I have a creative team of some of Seattle's best and most talented musicians who have been and will be helping me on this journey- including Ty Willman, Tim Forsander, Dana Turner, Nick Auckland, and Kathy Moore (DREAM TEAM)

All I want to do is share my music with people. I've never cared about "making it" or being seen or gaining money or fame. Of course everyone has goals and wants to hit milestones or progress forward and I am no different, but what has always come first is just the primal need to express myself and my feelings through music. Songwriting is an outlet for me that I crave and need or I will go crazy. I make music that means something to me and the best compliment in the world is that it means something to you, too.
