My very best boy---Georgie

Hi Folks.

If you know anything about me...it would be my absolute dedication and obsessive love for my beautiful ginger cat, Georgie

He adopted me back in 2018 right before covid.

Was I looking for a cat?? Not at all but I fell head over heels when I saw his adoption photo below and knew instantly we needed to be together!

He has been my constant companion, confidant and snuggle buddy for a little over 5 years....smoothing off some of my rough edges, filling my days with love and laughter and occupying the spaces in my life I didn't even know needed to be.

Sadly, he's recently gotten sick very fast with no chance of ever coming back to me.

He passed gently and peacefully in my arms, as we exchanged our last slow blinks with each other, at 1210 on January 14.....the pain he no longer has......has become mine

On top of this tremendous loss of my very best friend, all of the efforts that were used to help him came at a cost and have now left me looking at a $4200+ veterinarian bill. They did what they could but this wound cuts even deeper and I have no way make it go away on my own.

I humbly and heartbreakingly ask my friends and family if it is within your means, to please help me and to honour Georgie by donating what you can towards this insurmountable cost.

I simply can't see any light out of this.....and this invoice I can not do on my own.

With your support, hopefully I can make this amount go away and can then get back to the reality of focusing my sorrow to grieving the best "pooper" I've even know, and learning to walk again.

If you have pets.....hug them SO tightly...honour them every day and love them always........tomorrows are not guaranteed.
