Hi everyone, I'm making a GoFundMe for my uncle. He has been in the hospital for about 3 1/2 weeks now due to a condition that he has developed from a failed surgery. In 2021, he had a previous surgery which was an AV malformation. When the surgeon was performing the surgery, he ended up tying off some of the veins, arteries, and tissues, which caused them to have a lack of circulation, resulting in those healthy tissues dying. Since then, he's been having complications and chronic pain, which prevented him from sitting down and doing basic movements. It then formed a bump on his buttocks. His skin became irritated because the surgical wound never healed properly, which caused the skin to break down and that caused irritation and constant bleeding here and there.

Eventually, leading up to December 28th, 2024, my uncle woke up in a pool of blood and was experiencing excruciating, unbearable pain. He was rushed to the emergency room and ended up losing a gross amount of blood that almost took his life. As a result of that, he received multiple blood transfusions. The specialist stated that he had a rare diagnosis in which the doctors didn't know how to approach his situation. They told him that they were going to prescribe him medicine and provide wound care, but one of the nurses stated that he can't get sent home in this condition but rather find the source of the problem. The doctors then performed a procedure called CT Angiograph in which they injected dye into his bloodstream to detect the healthy living cells from the dead. They did this to find a plan of care. From that time, he's been admitted into the hospital and is set to be in the hospital for 3 more weeks or longer.

This unfortunate circumstance has caused him to miss out on working and having any income due to him being on a new job and not having all the benefits that come with it yet. My uncle has a wife and two kids under 4 who recently immigrated from another country. They are behind on bills and basic needs items due to my uncle's hospitalization.
