My Uncle Bubba

Hi my name is Emilie as I’m learning everyone who loved my uncle already knew so much about me. My Uncle attended my wedding last week and was so happy and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. When I spoke to him Friday I was still in California and he said he wasn’t feeling good . He told me told head out for San Diego call him tomorrow. I called Saturday and he said he was feeling a little bit better and to have a safe trip home . That was the last time I spoke with him . I don’t know the exact cause of death as we are waiting for autopsy results but I heard from my grandma that he had been sick but didn’t tell anyone . My uncle was a very proud man and made a friend in everyone he ever came in contact with.

Im asking for this money to pay for his cremation , the pricing is 1800 because he had to go to the coroners office and because of the big man he was .

The rest will go to getting me home to retrieve the things of his that we can hold dearly , like his big black hat that went to my nose and the blue shirt he wore for my wedding that my grandma would like.

I am asking that everyone who would like something that reminded you of him please reach out I have fb and I can provide my number. I will need to probably make two trips to California and take time from work.

I also want to share a part of him with those who would like to . Long Beach was his home and you were his family.

I will miss our hour long phone calls and you getting irritated cause I couldn’t let you get a word in edgewise . You were my uncle bubba, my therapist and my best friend. Proud and strong , kind and smart you knew things about the world that I had no idea you would like my electric car. You were the definition of a good man.

I love you Uncle Bubba you can finally see the world the way we saw you … Beautifully
