My dogs Simba and Nala are currently being unjustly quarantined at the Kennel Club in Los Angeles, 5325 W. 102nd Street Los Angeles CA 9004.
I imported two dogs from Brazil to the United States on 9/9/2025, Simba and Nala, both Yorkshire Terriers, through Los Angeles International Airport.
I have complied with all of the CDC guidelines and regulations listed on the CDC’s website and from their direction when I talked with them on the phone. I have also contracted the proper kennel to house our dogs as listed on the CDC website, Kennel Club LAX, dba Tailwind Global Pet and they have been working with us in this process.
The Kennel Club has informed me that the CDC will not release my dogs because of another document that is missing. However, the document they are referring to is the very document that was provided on the CDC website, https://www.cdc.gov/importation/dogs/foreign-vaccinated-high-risk-countries.html#cdc_generic_section_5-certification-of-foreign-rabies-vaccination-and-microchip-form, and which was approved by the Kennel Club.
The CDC has claimed that, "The form must then be endorsed by an official government veterinarian in the country where the dog is coming from (exporting country/Brazil)
As now, we need to get an endorsement documentation from the Brazilian Government (MAPA) so they can release the dogs to us!
I beg your help bc we need money to go after the kennel who misguided us and a Brazilian lawyer to contact MAPA
