My Transplant Journey: Your Help is Vital

On February 14 , my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Kidney Failure. This impacted for me and it has completely changed my daily routine, as I now rely on dialysis everyday to keep my body functioning while I await a kidney transplant. This new routine has taken time away from my daily commitments, such as going to school & going to work. The journey has been arduous, and has affected my life physically, mentally, and financially. I will be on the transplant list at Scripps soon, where the average wait time for a kidney is around 8 years, unless I am fortunate enough to find a living donor who can help. Whenever I receive the call that a transplant is available, I have to drop everything and travel to the transplant center. Along with staying a month in the area of the hospital to manage my transplant.

I'm asking if anyone would be generous to help support my journey when my time comes for my transplant, whenever that time comes. With your generosity & contribute, I could have enough to cover my stay in the area and any additional services after my transplant. You're help will allow me & my family to stay afloat during this difficult time.

Despite the overwhelming challenges, I try to maintain a hopeful outlook for the future, and remain strong in my faith; that God has a plan/purpose for me. Every day, I find strength in the support of my friends, family, and the community. El 14 de febrero, mi vida tomó un giro inesperado cuando me diagnosticaron insuficiencia renal. Esto me impactó y ha cambiado completamente mi rutina diaria, ya que ahora dependo de la diálisis todos los días para mantener mi cuerpo funcionando mientras espero un trasplante de riñón. Esta nueva rutina me ha quitado tiempo de mis compromisos diarios, al trabajo. El viaje ha sido difícil y ha afectado mi vida física, mental y financieramente. Pronto estaré en la lista de trasplantes en Scripps, donde el tiempo promedio de espera para un riñón es de alrededor de 8 años, a menos que tenga la bendición De Dios un donante vivo que pueda ayudarme. Cuando reciba la llamada de que hay un trasplante disponible, tengo que dejarlo todo y viajar al centro de trasplantes, además de quedarme un mes en el área del hospital para manejar mi trasplante. Estoy pidiendo si alguien sería generoso para ayudar a apoyar mi viaje cuando llegue el momento de mi trasplante, cuando sea que eso suceda. Con tu generosidad y contribución, podría tener suficiente para cubrir mi estancia en el área y cualquier servicio adicional después de mi trasplante. Tu ayuda permitirá que mi familia y yo nos mantengamos a flote durante este difícil momento. 

 A pesar de los desafíos abrumadores, trato de mantener una perspectiva esperanzadora para el futuro y permanezco fuerte en mi fe; que Dios tiene un plan/propósito para mí. Cada día, encuentro fuerza en el apoyo de mis amigos, familiares y la comunidad. Tu compasión -ya sea a través de donaciones, compartiendo mi historia con otros o simplemente enviando tus pensamientos y oraciones positivos- me proporciona consuelo y aliento mientras navego por este viaje que cambia mi vida.
