This September, I’ll be taking part in Tour de 4 — a mass bike ride aimed at changing perceptions around stage 4 cancer. It brings together those affected, directly or indirectly, to show support and raise vital funds for cancer charities across the UK.

In 2022 my Auntie Sarah was diagnosed with EGFR-positive lung cancer, which had spread to her spine, ribs, and skull. This type of cancer is caused by a mutation in the EGFR gene, leading to uncontrolled cell growth. It’s treatable but not curable.

Since her diagnosis, the EGFR+UK charity has been a lifeline. They’re the only UK charity dedicated to families affected by this type of cancer.

This September, I’ll be riding the Tour de 4 alongside my Auntie Sarah in support of herself and EGFR+UK. If you can, please support us by donating, sharing, or simply cheering us on.
