I am cycling the 60kms/540m elevation Tour de 4 route, which is part of a huge cancer awareness and fund raising event organised by Sir Chris Hoy on 7th September.

I’m raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. My mum is undergoing treatment for blood cancer and over the past year we have been supported by cancer care teams in East Yorkshire.

They have provided accessible, caring, personalised and reassuring support and advice to my mum when things were tough and uncertain. Their work is invaluable and so I’d now like to support them.
