My Tour De 4 Fundraiser to Fight Cancer

During Covid in May 2021 I was sat in a doctors office and told that I had incurable stage 4 prostate cancer and my life expectancy was between 2 and 5 years.

This was very tough to hear, but thanks to support from my lovely wife Gillian, friends, especially my cycling friends, and the amazing NHS I realised that there was hope and that life was still actually good. In fact, some parts of my life are better than before I was diagnosed as I am much more appreciative of the more important things of life now.

Treatments are always improving and 4 years after diagnosis I'm feeling great. Hopefully one day, no one will have to hear what I did sitting in a doctors office. By supporting Chris Hoy's Tour de 4 and Prostate Cancer UK that day will come closer.
