As some of you know, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer in June 2022. As an active 53 year old with none of the typical symptoms, this came as bit of a surprise!

The hormone treatment, chemotherapy and radiotherapy reduced me to a shadow of my former self; I was in a very dark place for some months. Was I even prepared to carry on?*

Macmillan were one of several organisations that leant me their support when it was needed the most. I'd like to raise some money to help fund their ongoing support of people and families that are touched by cancer.

*YES... I decided to carry on! I still have stage 4 prostate cancer but I'm currently well and enjoying all aspects of my life :-)
