I will be cycling the Sir Chris Hoy Riding Together Against Cancer 60 km Challenge on the 7 th of September 2025 raising funds and awareness of Stage 4 Cancer .

7 years ago I was incredibly fortunate to receive a second chance at life . My heart transplant and treatment was only possible with the support of my family, friends and the Transplant team at the Freeman Hospital , Newcastle . However , I was also fortunate enough to visit the Maggies Centre at the hospital and could witness for myself the invaluable work they do . So now , I want to help others , like me , who need help and support with their own personal and family struggles.

Maggies are support network centres based in the grounds of hospitals helping patients and families who are undergoing the battle of cancer and its treatment , care and wellbeing .
