Back in November 2023, Jenny (top middle, 48, and outstanding Mum to 2 lovely kiddos) looked in the mirror and thought her smile looked a bit lopsided, and her face felt a bit numb. She saw her doctor who sent her straight to hospital for some tests.
.
Within 24hours she'd gone from being the picture of good health, to having a stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis (EGFR+ - hence the charity), with brain mets.
.
A horrifying situation, especially for someone who had never so much as looked at a cigarette, and a total brain-melter for us as her friends.
.
Fast forward a year and a half, and Jen signed up to do this bike ride to raise funds and awareness.
.
Cat (top left) and I recently decided to surprise Jenny by also signing up... she's been having a horrific few weeks with incredibly painful side effects from her meds (on our recent weekend camping she had to wake me at 2am incase she passed out from the pain in the toilets, and she has literally just spent a full day in hospital trying to get to the bottom of it... It's not ok). So we wanted to give her a boost and lend some moral support, and here we are!
.
I've never done anything like this before, and 99.9% won't again, so consider this a one off request?! It's also a very excellent cause (fucking cancer, right?).

I hate exercising with people (if you know, you know!) so this is way outside of my comfort zone, and I would be super grateful for any support at all. Even a minimum donation really means the world to all of us... it's truly the thought that counts!

Thanks for reading :) please be manifesting all the positive vibes in Jenny's direction. She's a genuine ray of sunshine, and it's rubbish that she's going through this.
