Simon & I are undertaking the Tour de 4 to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK. Tour de 4 is a brand new cycling initiative, born from Sir Chris Hoy’s vision to change perceptions around stage 4 cancer following his own diagnosis. Encouraging those affected by cancer directly or indirectly to come together and ride on Sunday 7th September, 2025.

As many of you know our beautiful friend Leigh has been battling stage 4 cancer since February 2022. During this time she has endured major surgeries to her bowel, liver and lungs and endless rounds of chemo. Despite this, she has continued to be the epitome of living life with cancer.

She was due to join us on this ride but now has another surgery scheduled, which unfortunately means she is unable to participate. Luckily her stepson Ben has agreed to join the team so he, Jez (Leigh’s husband), Simon & I will be tackling the 56.2m route! The route has 3,772 ft of elevation with a max gradient of 16.9%! Wish us luck!!

Simon and I have chosen Bowel Cancer UK as our chosen charity, not only for Leigh but in support of my Dad who overcame Bowel Cancer following his diagnosis in 2021. Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity, dedicated to saving lives and improving the quality of life for those affected by the disease.
