It's been 10 years since we lost our Dad to prostate cancer. We miss him every day and it's hard to believe so much time has passed.

After listening to Chris Hoy's book and wanting to commemorate Dad, Anton and I have signed up to take part in the first Tour de 4, this September. It's Chris Hoy's new challenge to raise money for cancer charities, supporting those with stage 4.

We've chosen to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK to continue finding ways to treat this disease. I won't go in to details but hearing Chris Hoy's story, it's painfully close to what Dad went through and I was inspired to take part in the challenge. Anton, being the wonderful husband he is also taking part though he might regret it depending how much complaining I do on the way round ;-)

We'd appreciate anything you can give to help keep us going on the 37 mile route, the day after we go to see a comedian (that's not good planning)
