Following Sir Chris Hoy's diagnosis with Stage 4 cancer, the Tour de 4 was established with a clear purpose: to demonstrate that a Stage 4 diagnosis, while devastating, doesn't define the limits of what's possible.

The inaugural Tour de 4 starts and finishes at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow on Sunday 7th September 2025, and I will be cycling the 56 mile Red Route, through the Campsie Fells.

There are those in cycling that like to talk about “suffering” on the bike. People with Stage 4 cancer are suffering, so if you think you’re suffering on a ride, you don’t have enough problems in your life. I intend to embrace the burn, enjoy the ride, and raise some money to support Prostate Cancer UK.

Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men, roughly 1 in 8, but the earlier you find it, the easier it is to treat.
