I'm riding the Chris Hoy Tour de 4 charity ride next Sunday 7th September, an event designed to support those living with stage 4 cancer.

The ride is a 60 mile loop from the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow and I've decided to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

As well as raising awareness for Chris's cause, this ride is particularly meaningful for me and Donna. On 25th September it will be 10 years since Donna’s dad, Don, passed away from cancer. During that difficult time, Macmillan Cancer Support were an incredible source of comfort and practical help for Donna and her family.

Their care made a huge difference then – and continues to do so for thousands of families every day.

I’m riding this event in Don’s memory, and to raise funds so Macmillan can continue their vital work supporting people facing cancer, when they and their families need it most.
