On 7th September I will be taking part in Chris Hoy's Tour de 4 bike ride to raise awareness of Stage 4 cancers , to challenge perceptions and raise vital funds for cancer charities. We will be riding 40 miles around Glasgow, whatever the weather!

I have chosen Alder Hey as my charity because a family friend was successfully treated there after her own Stage 4 diagnosis. Alder Hey Children's Hospital has an Oncology and Haematology Unit, which specializes in treating children and young people with cancer and blood disorders. The unit includes an inpatient area, a day care department, and a Teenage Cancer Trust unit.
