My Tour De 4 Fundraiser to Fight Cancer
Want to join me in raising money for Cancer Research UK? Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little.
I am doing this in support of family members who have had and are suffering from cancer. My elder sister Liz has had breast cancer and my younger brother Austin has bowel cancer. Austin has undergone 120 chemo sessions since 2018 and is now undergoing radiotherapy. Initially diagnosed with Stage 4A cancer, he has also had 2 major operations, lives with a Stoma Bag (see his blog www.thebagforlife.co.uk) and has shown incredible determination and resilience. At 65 years of age, he is living proof of someone who is living life to the full despite adversity; he has continued working throughout, taken part in stand up for cancer comedy, published a book and continued to teach Shotokan karate as a 6th Dan. He is doing the static bike Tour de 4 as hip issues now prevent him from road cycling, so I am doing the 60km Blue ride on his behalf.
Please donate to help research for early identification and prevention of cancer; any amount, no matter how small, is welcome.
