My Tour De 4 Fundraiser and Marathon Golf to Fight Cancer

These two physical and demanding events set out below are an incredibly personal and emotional challenge for me . I have Stage 4 Advanced Prostate Cancer but with the professional support of a wonderful team of clinicians my condition is currently being treated with daily drugs and 3monthly injections. I have been incredibly lucky to have caught the cancer relatively early and have had fantastic family support but am acutely aware many others aren’t in my position.

On Sunday September 7th, I will be joining Sir Chris Hoy on his Tour de 4 cycle challenge in Glasgow (cycling 37 miles) to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK and those affected by this disease.

Sir Chris Hoy has been extremely courageous in leading this fund raising initiative and I feel honoured playing my small part.

In addition on Monday June 23rd I will also be attempting a Golf Marathon at the historic Rolls Golf Club in Monmouth , Wales , which involves playing 4 rounds . ⛳️⛳️⛳️⛳️. This feat should take approximately 14 to 15 hrs . Again all proceeds will be going directly to Prostate Cancer UK.
