My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer just before my wedding last year. To turn this devastating news into a positive, I’ve decided to join my brother in Sir Chris Hoys ‘Tour de 4’ ride in Glasgow, in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. We aim to complete the red route (90km), which is daunting for a novice like me but is nothing compared to what sufferers of cancer, including the friend and relatives of those affected, go through.
