My Tour De 4 Fundraiser to Fight Cancer

Charlie Thornycroft is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Bob Champion Cancer Trust.

Cancer = no one’s hero, ever.

So what better way to once again try to kick cancer’s butt (to borrow a phrase from another heroine of mine and cancer sufferer, Hannah Francis) than by taking on the Tour de Four cycle challenge?

I’m raising funds for the Bob Champion Cancer Trust. It’s different from the big-name organisations — every pound goes directly into vital research into male cancers, saving lives and giving men like Bob and Sir Chris are fighting.

I persuaded Ed H to join me and the two of us are heading to Glasgow this weekend to cycle alongside some extraordinary people to show our support for those that are fighting every day.
