I have been living with incurable Stage 4 Prostate Cancer for some time and I am joining Sir Chris Hoy in a cycling challenge on Sunday 7th September.

The challenge is to ride 90 Km through the hills north of Glasgow, to raise funds and awareness for fighting this disease.

I am currently in training and cycling on regular long rides across the South Downs in Hampshire.

This fund raising is very important in order to raise the profile and funds for this treatable cancer. I agree with many experts that regular cardio vascular exercise together with a low fat diet will help enormously in reducing the speed and spread of this disease.
