On September 7th I'll be joining Sir Chris Hoy and many others in a charity ride to raise money for the fight against cancer . As many of you'll know I lost my dad to cancer last year so I'll be riding in his memory. I've signed up for the 56 mile red ride which also includes 3700ft of climbing though the Scottish mountains , this will be my longest and biggest elevation climb by far. There's been plenty of trips over parbold hill over the last few months trying to get myself in to some sort of shape.As I don't own a road bike I'll be trying to complete this on a mountain bike ‍.
