Earlier on this year my former work colleague and pal , Richy Bennett, reached out following his diagnosis of stage 4 cancer. He asked if I would like to join him as training partner for the Chris Hoy Tour de 4 Event.

Richy is such an inspiration despite this diagnosis of Stage 4 Melanoma (skin cancer) he was advised to take 'light exercise'. He said stuff this and signed up for this event!!

It is a pleasure to be his training partner.........think no one else has a like minded love of maps, routes and cycling. Our training has been a mixture of road and mountain bikes taking in some of Scotland's great countryside along the way. Always entertaining, fun and packed with "Richyisms" !

The Tour de 4 event is held on 7th September 2025,please consider supporting me in raising funds for Maggie's on this event and every penny would be much appreciated.
