My Tour De 4 Fundraiser to Fight Cancer

On Sunday 7th September 2025, I’ll be taking part in Sir Chris Hoy’s inaugural Tour de 4 in Glasgow, a 56-mile charity ride that starts and ends at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. This event is not just about cycling, it’s about raising awareness and funds for cancer charities across the UK, helping to change perceptions of those living with stage 4 cancer.

As some of you may know, I’m currently undergoing chemotherapy for Non-Hodgkin’s Follicular Lymphoma. As a keen recreational cyclist, I wanted to set myself a goal to focus on after treatment, and this event feels like the perfect challenge. I won’t be riding alone, my eldest Finlay, on a whim has naively agreed to support me even though he’s never ridden a road bike before! I’m sure this will be just as much a challenge for him… If this novice beats me my bike will be auctioned for charity too!
