Having been diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer in October 2019, I find my ears naturally pricking up whenever a well known personality goes public with their diagnosis.

I was particularly affected when Sir Chris announced his news, especially given his age and the fact that he still has a young family.

So when he created the concept of Tour-de-4 I felt I simply had to take part to show that there is still a quality of life that can be achieved despite the awful diagnosis.
