As a cancer survivor, I understand the immense challenges of a diagnosis firsthand. The endless hospital visits, harsh treatments, and the emotional and physical toll are incredibly tough for adults. However, for a child, it's even more heartbreaking and traumatic.

Witnessing a child and their family, as we did some years earlier, endure such a terrifying ordeal was a stark reminder that childhood cancer impacts everyone around the patient.

That's why I'm taking part in the Chris Hoy Tour de 4 in Scotland to raise vital funds to support those suffering from childhood cancers. Your support will help fund research, provide crucial support services, and bring comfort to children and families battling this unimaginable disease. These children deserve every chance to grow up, and with your help, we can give them that opportunity.

This is a personal journey for me in my recovery, and one that I want to use to support others who have suffered, are currently suffering and will in the future.
