Hearing Sir Chris Hoy at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall this year had a big effect on me. Someone I've always admired and respected, candidly talking about his cancer battle reminded me how this illness affects so many people.

I remember my Gran receiving the best care and support at the Beatson before she lost her battle with cancer. Never one to sit down, I signed up to complete the 56-mile Tour de 4 in September 2025 in support of Sir Chris' campaign to show solidarity with those fighting cancer (https://www.tourde4.com/).

It would be fantastic if you could take part too. I'm riding to support the Beatson Cancer Charity so they can continue to help and care for others when they need it most.
