I’m taking part in a big charity cycling event - the Tour de Four - on Sunday 7 September. Its a fundraising cycling event, founded by Sir Chris Hoy, to raise money for cancer charities and challenge perceptions of living with Stage 4 cancer.

@90km of distance with at least one mahoosive big hill that’s already giving me the hebegeebies. Hopefully there will be some cakeage at the top to ease the pain but training has started in earnest.

I’ll be cycling with Barry (my bike) Kirsteen her hubby Kieron and his pal Gio and a few hundred other people I haven’t met but we will all be cycling for the same cause.

So please put your hands in your pockets and give anything you can spare. And just a reminder for all the menfolk to get your prostate checked. Catching the Big C sooner can make all the difference to beating it.
