Together with my Grandpa I’m taking part in Tour de 4 2026, the cycling event launched by Sir Chris Hoy following his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. It brings together people living with cancer, alongside friends, families and supporters, to ride side by side and raise vital funds.

My Grandpa has always been a huge inspiration to me. From taking me up my first Munro to cycling the length of Britain, he has always shown an incredible resilience, strength and determination. Traits that I have always admired.

Now at 88 years old and following his own journey with prostate cancer, those same traits have him wanting to give back in the hope that one day a prostate cancer diagnosis will not carry the same weight as it does currently.

I would like to complete this challenge alongside him, together, on the same bike he cycled the length of Britain 15 years ago.
