Valentine’s Day 2026 turned out to be very different for Grant and I this year. We spent the day together at DGRI, even managing a “date” and a romantic meal in the canteen. But after a long day of tests and waiting, we left with news neither of us were expecting — Grant has metastatic prostate cancer.
Since then, it’s been a rollercoaster of scans, tests, results, and emotions. But in true Grant style, he remains positive, and determined.
He is the strongest person I know, and it’s an absolute privilege to stand beside him as his wife through everything life brings.
To do something positive and raise awareness, Grant, the kids (Tilly and Shaw), and I have signed up to cycle 56 miles in the Tour de 4. It’s going to be a big challenge for us all, but we’re taking it on together as a family — for everyone whose lives have been touched by cancer.
If you’re able to donate or share, you’ll be helping us turn this into something positive for us and so many others.
