2026 has taken an unexpected turn, to say the least. Our Valentine’s Day brought news that no family ever wants to hear—my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer.

At just 40 years old, it’s incredibly rare for someone so young and healthy to face something like this. I can’t begin to imagine what he’s going through. Out of everyone I know, I never thought it would be my dad receiving news this heavy. But if there’s one thing I do know, it’s that he’s strong enough to face it.

Because of this, my family, close friends, and I have decided to take part in the Tour de 4 charity cycle this September. Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to us and go towards an important cause.
