My name is Chiara and I'm making this GoFundMe for my dog, Demeter. I've had her for eight years, and I've never faced anything like this with her.

She had a tumor that we got removed a few days ago, along with getting spayed. But the vet called and said that with a blood vessel going through the tumor, anything from inside the tumor could have gone out through the blood vessel to her lymphatic system. And it is very possible that she will need chemotherapy.

Any help that you are able to give would be very appreciated. She is such a good, sweet girl. Incredibly sassy, and VERY bossy. But she knows when people aren't okay, and does her best to take care of them. She even acts as a nanny dog to the children in our house.

I don't know what God has planned. But I won't be satisfied unless we do all we can for her.

Update: October 1st she got her first dose of chemo. She goes back on Halloween, for her next dose!

She seems to be doing great so far. Her behavior hasn't changed, she has not had diarrhea, or nausea, I think the dose she was given was the right amount.

She will get five more doses, with three weeks between each dose.
