Greetings!
My name is Iyanna Patterson and I am a native of District Heights ,Maryland. I am a junior at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. I am pursuing a degree in Business Administration . Currently, I am developing a focus on innovation and Entrepreneurship as my University's first female University innovation fellow. After college I plan to pursue a Juris Doctor Degree in Intellectual Property.
This semester I have had the privilege of being accepted into the "Strategy & Marketing for Emerging Countries” program to study abroad at the Universidade Paulista in São Paulo, Brazil during the winter of 2016! My choice to study at the Universidade Paulista was heavily influenced by my desire to add various dimensions of depth to my studies in business. I am specifically interested in the contrast between marketing tactics in Brazilian government and companies in comparison to the United States.
While abroad I hope to learn different techniques that will make me competitive in the global field of business. Ultimately, I see studying at the Universidade Paulista as an opportunity to learn innovative practices in São Paulo and integrate them into my own economy.
Thankfully, I have been able to secure funding from Morgan State to cover my tuition and housing while abroad. However there is still a gap that I am asking for assistance to fill. Any and every donation and share is greatly appreciated.
