Peyton's Study Abroad in Greece

Dear friends and family,

In a little over a month, I’ll begin an exciting adventure in Greece, fulfilling my study abroad requirement for graduation from Queens University of Charlotte! Honestly, it’s a destination I never thought I would visit. For six weeks, I’ll be living in an apartment while attending ACT, the American College of Thessaloniki, immersing myself in the fascinating fields of Philosophy and Ethics. Aside from my studies, I eagerly anticipate volunteering in the community and fully embracing the local culture. This trip is an unexpected blessing, and I’m excited about the chance to grow, learn, and broaden my horizons of the world.

I’ve given a lot of thought to sharing this news, especially as my departure date approaches. I want to clarify that I’m not in need. I created this page to offer an opportunity for the wonderful people who have supported, encouraged, and cared for me to join me on this journey, should they feel inspired to do so. I am immensely grateful that my major educational expenses are covered, but I do have some additional costs for extracurricular activities that I am responsible for. I truly want to maximize my time in Greece, and any support would be greatly appreciated as it would enable me to enjoy a variety of experiences.
