I am a single mother who is trying to cover tuition for my son. His father was in the military and passed in a motorcycle accident when he was young. The military informed me that my children were entitled to education benefits. The college of his choice allowed him to start school in August after communicating with the military, saying his information was being processed. They went on to deny him benefits, stating that the manner in which he passed disqualified my son from the education benefits. Me and his grandparents were all denied to be a co-signer on the loan to cover the other half of his tuition not covered by grants and scholarships. I have no clue why no one can be approved. My son is an amazing young man, stays out of trouble, and overall a great kid. I'm just looking for a way to keep my son enrolled in school and I'm out of options at this point.
