It’s always hard for me to ask help from anyone for anything and I’ve always been the guy who never asks for help but I feel I have no choice at this particular moment. My son Kaleb was in a pretty bad motorcycle accident today. Someone ran a stop sign at about 50 mph as he was coming through the intersection and t boned him on his left side.
He has some pretty extensive damage to his lower left leg. He spent about 4 hours in surgery today having his leg reconstructed. He’s going to be in the hospital for at least another week possibly two and will require several more surgeries.
I am so thankful he is adamant about wearing his helmet when he rides. Things were looking up for him in the last couple years. He had landed a great job, him and his girlfriend Kayla brought my beautiful granddaughter into this world. They both became some of the best parents to their little girl I have ever seen literally overnight. I couldn’t be more proud of them and the way they were progressing in life.
They will now have a long tough road ahead of them. Kaleb won’t be working at all for months and months and they will have bills piling up. With their new baby and life in general they are going to be struggling to keep up. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated and will go to nothing more than helping them to survive through the struggles that lie ahead of them. Thank you all so much.
