Hello, my name is Andrea. I am trying to raise some money to help my 36-year-old son get his hernia mesh implant repaired because it is messed up and he lives in Kansas. I live here in Springfield.

He’s been staying in a motel and still doing construction and roofing work, but his hernia is causing him to not be able to work and he can’t pay for his rent for the motel or the surgery to be repaired. My husband works himself 7 days a week to cover our monthly bills and to help keep my son with somewhere to live so he doesn’t end up in the streets because of his medical problems keeping him from working enough to pay his way.
