Every child deserves to feel safe, protected, loved and free to simply be a child.

I'm reaching out to ask for help for my little boy, who has experienced sexual trauma and is now facing the difficult journey of healing and recovery.

As his mum, my greatest wish is to give him every opportunity to heal in a safe, supportive environment, with access to the professional care he needs. No child should have to carry the weight of traumatic experiences, and no parent wants to feel limited in the support they can provide their child.

At the moment, we are only able to access one counselling session a month, and we are struggling to afford the additional therapeutic support I would like him to receive. We do not have NDIS funding to assist with these costs, leaving us trying to navigate this journey with very limited resources.

I'm hoping to raise funds to help cover additional counselling and appropriate therapeutic services, giving him greater access to professional support as he works through his experiences at his own pace.

This fundraiser is about putting his wellbeing first. It's about helping provide opportunities for healing, emotional support and the chance to build a future where he can feel safe, confident and hopeful.

Asking for help is not easy, but when it comes to your child, you want to do everything in your power to give them the support they deserve.
