My son and I need help until I get a better job..

Hey, it's me, Mike. I've finally hit the point of swallowing the last of my pride...

I unjustly lost my great paying job a year and a half ago. Since then, I've had to deal with unemployment not paying for extended periods, a divorce, and losing my home. I -do- have a job, but it is part time. After my child support is taken from my check, I'm often left with $80-$150 a week to support my son and I. After living in my car for a few weeks, an amazing friend has been paying for me to stay at a motel. I've been job hunting, and getting on waiting lists for shelters or low income housing, but nothing is panning out yet. I also have an arbitration meeting scheduled to get my old job back, but that isn't until February. And I just can't survive on what I make at my current job.

I unfortunately need help with food for William and I, my phone bill, car insurance, and gas until I'm better employed. And it would be nice to be able to take some of the burden off of my friend that's paying for the motel.

I hate being in this position, but a long string of bad luck combined with some people dealing in bad faith, I have to ask for help to continue being the best father I can for my son in these tight times. With any luck, I'll be able to shut this down because of a good paying job.
