My son and his family's home burnt down
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My son Dominic Rodrigues, his fiance Codey Martin. My 2 grandchildren Daysi age 8 and grandson Leonidas age 2, their dog Brownie and Cat named Sumo's house burnt down today 8/18/23 at 7400 Fernandina Ave. In Jacksonville. FL. It's on the news now and can be seen at https://www.actionnewsjax.com/news/local/jfrd-works-house-fire-moncrief-american-red-cross-arrives-assist/KKOLJRJQUVDMBGDURAQYVRYWVM/
The family left to go out for dinner and the pets were home. Upon their return they saw fire trucks blocking the road and saw their house was on fire. The pets were still in the home as firefighters worked hard to contain the flames. They managed to get both pets out but it was too late for "sumo" who perished. God rest his beautiful soul. Brownie was removed from the home unresponsive and they were able to resuscitated him but he is in bad shape and may not make it. He is suffering and they are currently trying to seek medical attention for him but have no funds at this point. The red cross did step in and helped financially for a motel room for a few days until we can figure out where they can move to. I want them to come here to Massachusetts so I can help them start over. If anyone has a 2br rental available around the Athol, MA 01331 area, please let me know. They lost everything. All they have are the clothes on their backs. My grandchildren are traumatized seeing their beloved cat Sumo dead and their dog Brownie dead then not dead but now suffering. We need prayer warriors right now to intercede. Please reach out to me with any questions. Thank you all in advance for your help.
